Dojo and Student Expectations

Dojo Policy

We recommend weekly attendance to grow and maintain health. We reserve the right to change the schedule and hours as we see fit.

Honor is the center of our dojo policies. We expect you to keep your word to yourself and others. This mark of distinction is the key to success and obtaining personal goals.

We reserve the right to cancel your status as a member of this dojo and revoke you ranking for any the following reasons listed:

  • Absence without communication
  • Misuse of The Art
  • Fighting
  • Theft
  • Disrespect to Seniors and Teachers
  • Teaching or showing Toyama Ryu to non dojo members without written permission of Sensei
  • Not attending class once a month
  • Drug or Alcohol Use during class
  • Gang Activity
  • Unacceptable Conduct
  • Disobeying the Dojo rules
  • Non Payment of membership
  • Neglecting to call if you are not going to attend the classes you have chosen
  • Criticizing other members of the dojo
